Essie Splash of Grenadine with Nubar 2010

So today I have for you a LOVELY pink mauve color for you!!!!! I saw it once and immediately fell in love. Essie Splash of Grenadine. I couldn't leave it alone though so I had to top it off with Nubar 2010 a gorgeous flakie!

The application was phenomenal and complete in two coats of Essie, one coat of Nubar, and one top coat of Seche. The wear in the photos is day number two so excuse the tip wear.

Black Knight Franken

Here is a franken I created called Black Knight. I loved that movie and when I was creating this I was watching it, so it just stuck!

I created this using 1/2 OPI Black Onyx and 1/2 of any OPI DS.

Nfu Oh Tape Mani

Remember the post I showed you on Nfu Oh 64 and how gorgeous it is? Well I just made it BETTER!!! I loved doing my other holo tape mani so much that I just had to try it with Nfu Oh's.

For this mani I used Nfu Oh 64 as my base, then on my accent nails nails I taped it off and used Nfu Oh 61, then Nfu Oh 65. It is just pure holo greatness!!

Frankening Friday

So yesterday I got the urge to franken. I had one in mind that I knew I wanted to do, but in the end I ended up with 14!! The one that I knew I was going to do is my friend Jen's Girls Night Out Franken. She doesn't have a post on it but you can check out her blog here.

A few of the frankens I created look similar, but are in fact very different. I haven't named them all yet so if you have a suggestion for one, let me know in a comment and the number.

Nfu Oh 64

Happy Friday everyone! How was your week? Mine was GREAT!! Unpacking, cleaning, school, homework, and laundry, what else is new?! So this post is my FIRST post at our new house. Please excuse my poor nails and cuticles, they have been through so much these past two weeks and I am trying to get them back into shape :)

So for today I have my very first Nfu Oh to show you, Nfu Oh 64. This is such a gorgeous color, its between a pink and purple. I fell in love at first swipe. The holo effect on this is just pure bliss. I know that with Nfu Oh's holos it is recommended to use the aqua base, but I don't have it.

For this mani I used Seche Vite's base coat and three carefully applied coats of Nfu Oh 64 which was easy because the coats dry SUPER fast. I also did not use a top coat for this because it is said to dull the holo effect.

China Glaze OMG

Good Morning!! Today I will finally be moved into a new home! YAY!! I really hate the process of packing and moving and unpacking. I just wish all my things could pack themselves, grow little legs, and walk over to the new house, and unpack themselves. That would make it so much easier!

So to brighten up my mood a little bit I am showing you a GORGEOUS, which is an understatement, nail polish!! It's a holographic silver nail polish called OMG and it's from the China Glaze OMG Collection.

I was lucky enough to have found one because it is really hard to come by these days. Your best bet is to look in salons. Okay enough talking and let me just show you the good stuff!!

OPI Not Like The Movies

When I heard that Katy Perry was partnering with OPI to come out with a line, I knew I had to have them all!! Not Like The Movies is one of those colors.

OPI's Not Like The Movies is a great purple and green duochrome with very tiny silver glitter in it. The application is a little on the sheer side so I applied 3 coats.

Grape Leopard

Ok so this is my first time doing a leopard print mani. I wasn't sure how I was going to do so I only did my accent nails.

I started off with two coats of China Glaze Grape Pop. I then used a dotting tool and OPI Black Onyx for the leopard print. Next, I used OPI DS Original for the spots.

As if it wasn't already blinged out enough i added some rhinestones. I love adding rhinestones to my mani's.

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

Warning!! Sunglasses recommended!! China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy is a very bright, orange, pink, neon! This color just screams summer and is definitely bright indoors and out!

Flip Flop Fantasy is a little tempered brat who likes to leave streaks. In order to prevent this I started out with a white base coat. I applied 4 coats of this bad boy, even after the white base!! Each coat that I did apply dried relatively quick given the fact that it is a neon.
