So today I have for you a LOVELY pink mauve color for you!!!!! I saw it once and immediately fell in love. Essie Splash of Grenadine. I couldn't leave it alone though so I had to top it off with Nubar 2010 a gorgeous flakie!
The application was phenomenal and complete in two coats of Essie, one coat of Nubar, and one top coat of Seche. The wear in the photos is day number two so excuse the tip wear.
Good Morning!!! Yay it's Friday!!!! Aren't you excited that the weekend is finally here?! I am!! Ok, so anyways last Friday I created some frankens that turned out beautiful!!! I did a post on them last Saturday which you can find here. After seeing that they turned out so good I decided to go at it again and create some more.
Click to enlarge! Oh and excuse my daughters bounce toy in the first picture :)
So yesterday I got the urge to franken. I had one in mind that I knew I wanted to do, but in the end I ended up with 14!! The one that I knew I was going to do is my friend Jen's Girls Night Out Franken. She doesn't have a post on it but you can check out her blog here.
A few of the frankens I created look similar, but are in fact very different. I haven't named them all yet so if you have a suggestion for one, let me know in a comment and the number.
Happy Friday everyone! How was your week? Mine was GREAT!! Unpacking, cleaning, school, homework, and laundry, what else is new?! So this post is my FIRST post at our new house. Please excuse my poor nails and cuticles, they have been through so much these past two weeks and I am trying to get them back into shape :)
So for today I have my very first Nfu Oh to show you, Nfu Oh 64. This is such a gorgeous color, its between a pink and purple. I fell in love at first swipe. The holo effect on this is just pure bliss. I know that with Nfu Oh's holos it is recommended to use the aqua base, but I don't have it.
For this mani I used Seche Vite's base coat and three carefully applied coats of Nfu Oh 64 which was easy because the coats dry SUPER fast. I also did not use a top coat for this because it is said to dull the holo effect.
Good Morning my nail polish lovers! How is your week going so far? I know its only Tuesday but I can't wait until FRIDAY! Every Friday I can't help but think of that YouTube girl Rebecca Black who sang that song Friday.."It's Friday, Friday...". Have you guys heard of it? Anyways...
So remember that post I had on that gorgeous China Glaze OMG? (if you don't you can check it out here) Well I kind of made it more gorgeous, with more holo!!! Ready...
Good Morning!! Today I will finally be moved into a new home! YAY!! I really hate the process of packing and moving and unpacking. I just wish all my things could pack themselves, grow little legs, and walk over to the new house, and unpack themselves. That would make it so much easier!
So to brighten up my mood a little bit I am showing you a GORGEOUS, which is an understatement, nail polish!! It's a holographic silver nail polish called OMG and it's from the China Glaze OMG Collection.
I was lucky enough to have found one because it is really hard to come by these days. Your best bet is to look in salons. Okay enough talking and let me just show you the good stuff!!
Warning!! Sunglasses recommended!! China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy is a very bright, orange, pink, neon! This color just screams summer and is definitely bright indoors and out!
Flip Flop Fantasy is a little tempered brat who likes to leave streaks. In order to prevent this I started out with a white base coat. I applied 4 coats of this bad boy, even after the white base!! Each coat that I did apply dried relatively quick given the fact that it is a neon.
