Essie....I Love Nail Polish!

Hey everyone!! Im back!! Sorry for the hiatus!
I promise this post will make up for it!

Essie Barefoot in Blue
&
I Love Nail Polish Once Upon a Starry Night

I recently came across a facebook page that posted a ton of cute nail pictures. Then I started to see that she was creating her own nail polish! At first, I was unsure if she was going to sell them, so I sat back and watched the beautiful creations. Then one day I was browsing on etsy and came across her store!!!!! I snatched some babies up so quickly, I think my keyboard was smelling like burnt rubber!

Here I have Once Upon A Starry Night from her latest winter collection. It is a combination of blue, silver, white, prism, and star glitters. GORGEOUS COMBINATION!!!

I have layered one coat, plus dabbing, of Once Upon A Starry Night, over three coats of Barefoot in Blue.

I Love Nail Polish is currently having a sale of 40% off! Head on over and tell Barbra I said HI!!!

Jade Holográfico Gradient

The other day I posted about Jade Hypnose, a gorgeous teal-blue holographic nail polish.

Today, I have a gradient using Jade Hypnose
Jade Fascino Violeta

Fascino Violeta is a beautiful deep purple holographic color!

Holographic gradients are super easy to do and a great way to spruce up your current mani!! I love how easily the blue and purple blend together creating the perfect marriage in gradient world!

Mermaids Strike Again!!

Mermaids have inspired yet another mani for my nails!!

It was actually very hard to do both hands!! I am glad I took the time and had the patience because they really turned out nicely!!
I did a gradient for the pink, blue, and purple from dark to light. On the thumb I started with white and stamped with the Red Angel plate 111 using the three colors. On my accent nail, I did a gradient with pink, purple, and blue and then stamped with the RA-111 using white. The glitters I used are just loose holographic hex glitters.

Not So Blue Mani

Do I have a comeback mani for you!! I was inspired by a nail artist named Chelsea. Chelsea is the blog owner of Get Nailed, and boy is she creative!! I followed one of her videos on YouTube to create this look.

The colors I used are Sephora by OPI Slushied and OPI My Boyfriend Scaled the Walls. For the glitter I  did it a bit different then the way Chelsea uses them, I just used loose hex glitter I bought from Nail Envy.

I hope you love this mani as much as I did, because another variation is coming your way very soon!!

Candeo Colors Divebomb Jelly Sandwich

When I received Candeo Colors Divebomb in the mail I knew immediately I wanted to do a jelly sandwich.

For those who do not know what a jelly sandwich is, when it comes to nails, it's when you apply a color, like a cream, then add a glitter or flakie, and top it off with a jelly-like finish nail polish.

For my jelly sandwich I used New York Summer Hot Sky Blue. New York Summer has some awesome jelly polishes!

This next photo looks a bit off on my skin color, but I edited it to show the depth of the glitter in the jelly sandwich.

I applied two coats of NYS Hot Blue Sky, then two coats of Candeo Divebomb, and finally, one coat of NYS Hot Blue Sky.

This mani lasted me quite a while, for more than 4 days wear! The formula on both of these polishes were excellent!

Chanel Nouvelle Vague

Nouvelle Vague is a gorgeous turquoise nail polish color released by Chanel in their Summer 2010 collection.

This color applied like butter and was perfected to my liking in three coats. Now I can't decide whether I want to stamp over this or do a glitter gradient!! So many choices!! I may just leave it as is in all it's glory and simplicity.

HITS Cutie Pie and Jazz MATTEFIED!!!

As you may have seen my posts from the past couple of days I have added and added to my HITS Cutie Pie manicure! Well today, I have another addition to it!
Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love

Whenever I do duochrome mani's it's almost second nature for me to add flakie and matte to it, it just brings out so much character to the nail polish!!
