International Haul & Such

This month I had quite the international haul come to my house!! With the help of a few great ladies I was able to get two Catrice collections that I had really been wanting and the Essence Snow White collection.

This is the Catrice Coolibri collection. Thanks to my friend Maddie, I was able to get the whole set!!! She also sent some cute Hello Kitty gummy snacks, a leopard print mini nail file, and glittery nail clippers! Thanks Maddie!!!

This collection is the Catrice Cruise Couture collection. While the colors may seem simple and not unique, they totally are!! Love them!! A BIG Thank You to Caroline from Good Lack, Nail! for these!!!

If you know me and Disney, well, we're inseparable!!! I just had to have everything from this collection and Caroline (my lifesaver) was able to get it all for me!!! Thank you again, Caroline!!! Also a thank you to Marcy for shipping them to me!!!

The HAREpolish polishes I received were Rad Cloud, Magic Mist, Dog Day Dream, and Asteroid Turf. I had gotten Rad Cloud, Magic Mist, and Dog Day Dream from the Llarowe stock. Asteroid Turf I received from HAREpolish's etsy shop.

Deborah Lippmann Between the Sheets and Boom Boom Pow arrived from my Apothica order!!

Finally, from the $0.99 Sinful Colors sale at Walgreens I got only one color!!!

Dollar Tree Haul

Yesterday I had to go into the Dollar store to purchase some nail mail envelopes. I just so happened to be near the nail polish aisle!! How coincidental?! I saw that they put up some new Sally Hansen duo's so I wanted to look into them further.

I was able to find some pretty unique Sally Hansens that I have never seen before. I took a picture and sent it to my Sally Hansen guru Laurie and she told me to buy them for sure and that they were beauty in a bottle!

The three colors on the left came in a duo with the three on the right.
LtoR: Crystal Opal, Pale Pink Opal, Rose Gold Opal, Emerald City, Lime Lights, & Ocean View

I was googling swatches and found out that the best way to show the Opal's was to layer them over black.

Crystal Opal over black gives a green to dark purple duochrome effect, Pale Pink Opal over black gives a blue to purple duochrome effect, and Rose Gold Opal over black gives a green to dark purple duochrome effect as well.

On the swatch wheel the Crystal Opal and Rose Gold Opal really look similar over black. I am trying out other colors to see if I can get a different effect from each to really signify the two different colors.

Considering the package said that the duo's were normally a retail value of $7.99, I would say I scored by only paying $3 for all of them!

My New Additions!

Have you missed me yet? Sorry for my latest absence, I recently went back to school, visited my family, and have been trying to make my nails healthier! Ugh, life, it always seems to get in the way! :)

Anyways, onto the goodies! Over the past few months I have acquired some beauties and thought you might like to see!

Urban Outfitters DUST is a gorgeous light blue base with different sizes of silver glitter. Looks like a DL dupe to me. Here is 2 coats.

These are two nail polishes I won in a nail polish Fantasy Football group! They are really pretty and glittery in the sun! The left, Smoking Diva, is a gorgeous brown base with gold flecks. The right, Bold N Bronze, is a golden base with gold flecks. These are really pretty and 2 coats each.

Lastly, a very unique beauty. Icing After Party! Its a multi-colored mylar fleck nail polish. I can't wait to layer with this! Here is 2 coats swatched, and on the left over black.

What do you think? Will you be taking a trip to pick some of these up? All of these are relatively inexpensive and are under $8 USD each.

I know I am missing a swatch of Milani Blue Lightening, the color did not look good in my lighting so I am going to take a better picture in the sun, whenever that decides to come out!
