Brown and Black Holo Comparison

I'mmmm baaaack! My nails are finally starting to look better and grow nicer! I will have my post of the experience using Nailtique.

Today I have a comparison post to show you.
I will be comparing:
OPI My Private Jet (brown holo)
OPI My Private Jet (charcoal-brown holo)
HITS Zeus
Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight
Glitter Gal Black
Direct Sunlight
LtoR: OPI MPJ(brn holo), OPI MPJ(charcoal holo), HITS Zeus,
GG 10 to Midnight, & GG Black holo

Indoor Natural Light

As you can see, the closest ones are HITS Zeus and GG 10 to Midnight. The only difference is that the GG has more of a metallic finish in the sun. After swatching this, I'm not too sure I'm in love with my brown holo MPJ! Don't call me crazy now!

If you would like I can also compare two of the newer versions of MPJ and my black holo franken. Just let me know :)

My New Additions!

Have you missed me yet? Sorry for my latest absence, I recently went back to school, visited my family, and have been trying to make my nails healthier! Ugh, life, it always seems to get in the way! :)

Anyways, onto the goodies! Over the past few months I have acquired some beauties and thought you might like to see!

Urban Outfitters DUST is a gorgeous light blue base with different sizes of silver glitter. Looks like a DL dupe to me. Here is 2 coats.

First, Pure ICE Oh Baby! is a gorgeous blue and purple effect. The middle is Pure ICE Heart Breaker which is a green shift pigment. Last, Urban Outfitters SNOW, its a red to orange shimmer shift. Here are 2 coats.

These are two nail polishes I won in a nail polish Fantasy Football group! They are really pretty and glittery in the sun! The left, Smoking Diva, is a gorgeous brown base with gold flecks. The right, Bold N Bronze, is a golden base with gold flecks. These are really pretty and 2 coats each.

Lastly, a very unique beauty. Icing After Party! Its a multi-colored mylar fleck nail polish. I can't wait to layer with this! Here is 2 coats swatched, and on the left over black.

What do you think? Will you be taking a trip to pick some of these up? All of these are relatively inexpensive and are under $8 USD each.

I know I am missing a swatch of Milani Blue Lightening, the color did not look good in my lighting so I am going to take a better picture in the sun, whenever that decides to come out!

Nail Mail!

About a week ago there was a deal going on at Plum District. The deal consisted of purchasing a $50 gift card voucher to Bloom.com for only $25. Bloom.com carries many different beauty products, but my interest was the nail polish.
They carry brands such as CND, Essie, Zoya, OPI, and Sally Hansen just to name a few.
I ordered some of the OPI Nicki Minaj colors and a Zoya.

The packaging was done cute and safe for nail polish!

They wrapped two nail polishes per burrito.

Here are the colors I ordered from L to R:
OPI Fly, Did It On 'Em, Metallic 4 Life, Save Me, Super Bass Shatter, and Zoya Neeka

OPI Fly, Did It On Em, M4L, Save Me, Super Bass Shatter

Zoya Neeka

Did you take advantage of this offer? I think overall this offer was really worth it! I only paid $17.50 out of pocket!

UPDATE!!!!
KGB Deals has the same deal going on right now! $50 gift card to Bloom for $25!!! Only 940 deals left out of 2000!!! This deal ends in 3 days!

I have always wanted to try a mani that looked like a Mermaid's tail, so I decided to do one today. I had wanted my nails to be a little longer, but I just couldn't wait to try this out.

Happy New Year!!! Thank Blue!

First off, I would love to thank each and every one of my followers! When I started this, I had no idea what would come to follow! I hope you all had a wonderful 2011! I am looking forward to 2012! Anyways onto the nail polish!

Lynnderella Thank Blue!
This is my very first Lynnderella! I had been eyeing this beauty for quite sometime, but was never fast enough to get it on her blog. Thankfully, Llarowe now sells them, even though they also sell out quick!

Thank Blue! is a gorgeous glitter nail polish full of blue and teal! There are large and small hex and square glitters in a milky, sheer blue/teal base.

I started off with one coat of Color Club Chelsea Girl just to give it a bit of a base to build off of. Then I added Color Club Sexy Siren for some more bling! Finally, a coat of Thank Blue!

You can also see on my ring finger an addition. I was in Sephora and wanted to try their new blue glitter shatter, well as you can see, no shatter! I was a bit disappointed, but I think I needed to shake the bottle first. It might also be the fact that I had Seche Vite on, and it might not react that well with Seche.
