butter LONDON Disco Biscuit Cloud Mani

I have been seeing cloud mani's every so often in the nail blogging world and decided to give it a go.

The base is butter LONDON Disco Biscuit, then a layer of Trout Pout, and finally Slapper.

Then, I decided to layer another coat of Disco Biscuit, and BOY DID IT TRANSFORM!!!

This whole collection is really a must have! Each color is gorgeous and unique and perfect for multiple mani's and for every season.

Butter London Disco Biscuit

I had been eyeing Disco Biscuit for a while at my local ULTA, then one day I bit the bullet and bought it. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did!!!

Disco Biscuit is a beautiful fuchsia and hot pink jelly polish with blue and purple shimmer throughout it.

While you can achieve semi-full coverage with this color, I think it was meant to be a layering polish, like Knackered, with the other colors in the collection.

Overall, this is a gorgeous jelly color to have and is totally unique in every way, shape, and form. It is definitely worth it to add to your collection.

Laura Mercier Luscious

Luscious is another GORGEOUS fuchsia sorbet color.

Don't you just LOVE how this looks!! It's a really refreshing color.

I am falling in love with Laura Mercier's formula. This was easy to apply and became opaque in 2 to 3 coats despite being a little sheer. The wear was really awesome as well! I was able to wear this mani for at least 5 days with no chipping.

I am a little sad looking at these pictures because my nails broke recently and I have short nails now :( I am in the process of getting this shape back though, it seems to work best for me.

OPI NYC Ballet Collection

Today I have two of the OPI NYC Ballet collection nail polishes. OPI Care To Danse? and OPI Pirouette My Whistle. At first when I saw swatches of these online I didn't care for them too much, when I saw them in person it was a whole other story!

OPI Pirouette My Whistle is a lovely glitter with mini silver glitters and large hex grey-silver glitters. Its really dainty and gorgeous!
I then decided to do a jelly sandwich and layer another coat of Care To Danse? on top.
This collection apparently wasn't supposed to be in stores until April. I found these at the salon in JcPenny's. They retail for $8 but if you purchase 2 or more they are $6 each.

Laura Mercier Cabana

In an attempt to expand my "higher end" nail polish collection, I went on a little pre-birthday spree to expand that area. Among the few that I bought, Laura Mercier was one of them.
Cabana caught my eye, not only because of it's coral-like qualities, but because the bottle is just too cute!

The color is of a sorbet quality, half creme, half jelly. I really really love this color and everything about it! It screams spring & summer! The application was so smooth and perfect! My nails were easily covered in the standard 2-3 coats.

I had never heard of this brand before until I walked into Macy's, but I plan on purchasing more in the future!
Do you have any Laura Mercier nail polishes? What color's do you recommend?

Franken Feature: Pretty & Polished

Beach Bunny
Beach Bunny is another great polish created by Chelsea!! She is a genius when it comes to this stuff!
Beach Bunny is a pretty neon orange/pink jelly with multiple different colors and sized glitter.

The formula was relatively easy to work with and the glitter cooperated rather well.
I am loving the depth the polish gives with the different sized glitter.
The glitter sizes range from small to large white hex as well as medium sized holographic pink hex and bar glitter.
This is a perfect nail polish color for spring and summer, for your nails or your toes!

Pretty & Polished Beach Bunny can be purchased with its husband, Beach Bum in the Beachy Keen Duo. The duo retails for $15 plus shipping on her etsy shop.

Chanel Distraction

I have been wanting to add some high end polishes to my collection and have been adding them to my wish list.
My birthday is this month and so I decided to give myself an early birthday gift by placing a Bloomingdale's order...and this was one of them!
Among the few that I added was Chanel Distraction from the Chanel Roses Ultmies de Chanel Le Vernis set.
Distraction is a gorgeous coral sorbet polish with pink micro shimmer.

Can you see the pink micro shimmer? It's gorgeous!

In the shade its a gorgeous color of coral! Perfect for summer!

I am so glad I decided to get this one! The application was a little tricky, but with careful attention the end results are beautiful!

Coral has definitely been a go to color for me this season! What are your go to colors right now?

Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams is part of Deborah Lippmann's Spring 2012 line. It is a gorgeous pink/fuchsia jelly packed flakie nail polish. The flakies are a gold to orange shift.
Here I have one coat layered over Sephora by OPI It's My Pink scented nail polish. Even after I layered this, I could still smell the scent!
Sweet Dreams was such a breeze to apply and it really is dreamy with a smooth shiny finish!

A little quick and dirty swatch to show the density of the flakies.

This next picture is the most color accurate.

Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams retails for $18 but I was able to purchase it from HSN for $16 when it went on sale. I don't see it yet on the Deborah Lippmann website, but I am sure it will come soon. You can also "LIKE" Deborah Lippmann on Facebook for updates as well as follow her on Twitter!

I figured that since I had a Betsey Johnson exclusive as my base that I could do no wrong by stamping a few roses on top of this mani!

Even though flakies have been released a lot lately, you really can not go wrong with this DL color! The pink/fuchsia jelly is just gorgeous and the added flakie is the icing on the cake!

Franken Feature: Pretty & Polished

Beach Bum
Beach Bum is a newer nail polish in the Pretty & Polished store.
Chelsea describes it as a hunky blue polish that is packed with blue glitters and hints of green glitters as well.

You can see the various shaped glitter here. There are small round and square blue glitter as well as small and large hex green glitter.

In the sun Beach Bum sparkles with blue holographic sparkle!

Beach Bum is so pretty! The application is lovely as well! Here I have applied 4 coats for full coverage. I am not sure if she is going to be selling this by itself. I purchased this in the Beachy Keen Duo that includes another great polish called Beach Bunny. The set is $15 for full size bottles of Beach Bum and Beach Bunny. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this duo!

Sephora by OPI It's My Pink

It's My Pink is a Betsey Johnson exclusive Sephora by OPI nail polish. It's My Pink is a lovely scented nail polish that smells like Betsey Johnson's very own Too Too signature scent. The scent isn't that overbearing, but it is very nice, not too strong.
The color is a gorgeous bright pink nail polish. It's borderline jelly and creme.

The last photo, above, is the most color accurate, in my opinion. I did use three coats and you can still see a little bit of nail line. I did not use a topcoat on this because I am adding something to it, but the finish is super shiny! Overall, this color is totally me and I can never have enough pinks, let alone a scented one!

It's My Pink is LIMITED EDITION and is exclusively sold at Sephora. It can be found on their website or in stores. The bottle retails for $9.50 USD for 15mL.
