Nail-Venturous Pinkerbell & Floam Zebra

Today I added a stamp to my mani from yesterday. I decided to do a zebra stamp using BM 223 with Sally Hansen White On just to add a little something extra. I love how simple and cute it turned out!

The wear on these Nail-Venturous lacquers are really good! I have been cleaning, folding laundry, giving my daughter a bath, taking a shower, etc...and its held up SUPER good!

Nail-Venturous Pinkerbell & Floam

Remember that totally awesome and amazing nail mail I received the other day? You know, the one with those Ah-Ma-ZING frankens from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous? Well today I'm going to show you Pinkerbell and Floam.

Some of you might recognize the name Floam. Well it was a 90's toy craze that kids, like myself, begged their parents to buy. Amy had a little trouble trying to come up with a name for it, and luckily we have a ninja like Rhonni who thought of it!

How perfect is that name?
Pinkerbell is actually Floam's long lost sister polish. Pinkerbell has the same glitters as Floam, but with pink added.
I decided to do a mani using both!
All pictures are two coats.

This picture is my favorite because it brings out the blue!

Please, feel free to click pictures and enlarge the beauty.

These were super easy to apply and dried relatively fast, a little slower than normal glitters but faster than normal cremes. After drying, I added a coat of Gelous and Seche Vite.
Are you in love yet?
:)

 Forever Taylor's
This one is my personal favorite! Why you ask? Well she named this one after me! I had been looking for a black glitter polish for a while and brought up the idea. Amy said that she would be willing to make one for me! Isn't she just the BEST! This is basically like the WnW Ice Ice Baby glitter, but BLACK! Totally me and GORGEOUS! Thank you again, Amy!
LtoR: 2 coats, 2 coats over white & black

How wonderful and unique are these!! I seriously am still in awe and can't decide what to wear first! These are all so unique and different from any nail polish I have ever seen! What do you think? Which ones are your favorite from my bunch?

Valentines Day Mani #2

The other day I posted my very first Valentines Day mani. Well today, I have another one to show you!
After doing my mani I was really unsure as to what I should do to my other hand! I tried to something a little easier because I am not that good yet at doing nail art with my left hand.

The kisses were a huge hit on my last mani, so I decided to do a "kissed nail" to get the effect of an overwhelming amount of kisses is being given.

The colors and plate I used are all relatively the same, except for the index finger. For the index finger I used a base of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, then one coat of Icing After Party, and one coat of OPI I Lily Love You.

The plate I used is BM02 from the 17 piece Bundle Monster stamping plate set.

Valentines Day Mani

I know Valentines Day is a little ways away, but it's one of my favorite occasions so I couldn't resist starting a mani.

Here are the colors and tools I used for this mani.

I also used a heart rhinestone from an ebay set which is not pictured.

Here is a picture without flash to show the dimensions of the glitter.

Brown and Black Holo Comparison

I'mmmm baaaack! My nails are finally starting to look better and grow nicer! I will have my post of the experience using Nailtique.

Today I have a comparison post to show you.
I will be comparing:
OPI My Private Jet (brown holo)
OPI My Private Jet (charcoal-brown holo)
HITS Zeus
Glitter Gal 10 to Midnight
Glitter Gal Black
Direct Sunlight
LtoR: OPI MPJ(brn holo), OPI MPJ(charcoal holo), HITS Zeus,
GG 10 to Midnight, & GG Black holo

Indoor Natural Light

As you can see, the closest ones are HITS Zeus and GG 10 to Midnight. The only difference is that the GG has more of a metallic finish in the sun. After swatching this, I'm not too sure I'm in love with my brown holo MPJ! Don't call me crazy now!

If you would like I can also compare two of the newer versions of MPJ and my black holo franken. Just let me know :)

My New Additions!

Have you missed me yet? Sorry for my latest absence, I recently went back to school, visited my family, and have been trying to make my nails healthier! Ugh, life, it always seems to get in the way! :)

Anyways, onto the goodies! Over the past few months I have acquired some beauties and thought you might like to see!

Urban Outfitters DUST is a gorgeous light blue base with different sizes of silver glitter. Looks like a DL dupe to me. Here is 2 coats.

These are two nail polishes I won in a nail polish Fantasy Football group! They are really pretty and glittery in the sun! The left, Smoking Diva, is a gorgeous brown base with gold flecks. The right, Bold N Bronze, is a golden base with gold flecks. These are really pretty and 2 coats each.
L to R: Dare to Wear Smoking Diva & Dare to Wear Bold N Bronze

Lastly, a very unique beauty. Icing After Party! Its a multi-colored mylar fleck nail polish. I can't wait to layer with this! Here is 2 coats swatched, and on the left over black.

(over black on the left)

What do you think? Will you be taking a trip to pick some of these up? All of these are relatively inexpensive and are under $8 USD each.

I know I am missing a swatch of Milani Blue Lightening, the color did not look good in my lighting so I am going to take a better picture in the sun, whenever that decides to come out!

Nail Mail!

About a week ago there was a deal going on at Plum District. The deal consisted of purchasing a $50 gift card voucher to Bloom.com for only $25. Bloom.com carries many different beauty products, but my interest was the nail polish.
They carry brands such as CND, Essie, Zoya, OPI, and Sally Hansen just to name a few.
I ordered some of the OPI Nicki Minaj colors and a Zoya.

The packaging was done cute and safe for nail polish!

They wrapped two nail polishes per burrito.

Here are the colors I ordered from L to R:
OPI Fly, Did It On 'Em, Metallic 4 Life, Save Me, Super Bass Shatter, and Zoya Neeka

OPI Fly, Did It On Em, M4L, Save Me, Super Bass Shatter

Zoya Neeka

Did you take advantage of this offer? I think overall this offer was really worth it! I only paid $17.50 out of pocket!

UPDATE!!!!
KGB Deals has the same deal going on right now! $50 gift card to Bloom for $25!!! Only 940 deals left out of 2000!!! This deal ends in 3 days!
