China Glaze 2NITE

Lately I have been on a holographic kick! I just love the way any holographic nail polish colors look in the sun, and I might as well use up the summer sun to make these babies shine!!


Here I have the gorgeous China Glaze 2NITE from the OMG collection. The colors from this collection are very hard to find because they are all gorgeous holo's!! I was lucky enough to have bought this from a fellow nail polish lover when she went on a dusty hunt!


2NITE is a light blue and a gorgeous one at that!!

OPI DS Diamond

Oh Boy, do I have a beauty to show you or what?!!! Today we have OPI DS Diamond. The application was ok in 3 coats, but I probably could have used another coat. The pictures are without top coat because some say it dulls the holo effect.


OPI DS Diamond is a very, very light version of DS Original. I would call it a very light lilac. I am not sure if it leans lilac because of the holo or what? Whatever it is, it's GORGEOUS!!

Orly Lemonade

I've been wanting a yellow creme nail polish for quite some time now, but every time I stop to get nail polish I end up getting something from the latest collections and yellow isn't always on my mind. So one trip to Ulta I finally picked Orly Lemonade up.


Orly Lemonade is a great creamy yellow, it doesn't remind me of lemonade, and it doesn't smell like lemonade, but it sure does make me think of lemonade in the summer.


The application was a little tricky. Orly Lemonade is opaque so I had to do 4 coats.The previous day I had also received Nubar 2010 in the mail. And if you know me you know I just can't leave a mani alone, so I added this bad boy to the mix.

Strawberry Margarita Covered In Diamonds

OPI Strawberry Margarita topped with Color Club Covered in Diamonds is one of my all time favorite combinations. I haven't used either of these colors before and was anxious to try Covered in Diamonds.


Strawberry Margarita is from the OPI Mexico Collection and is now part of their permanent line. Strawberry Margarita is a warm hot pink that needs at least 3 coats, 2 if you're careful enough.


I couldn't leave this color alone so I dipped it in diamonds using Color Club's Covered in Diamonds.

Mommy's Mani's

So today is a great way to kick off my Mommy's Mani's posts because, it's my daughter's birthday today!! She is turning 3 years old!! We are celebrating her birthday a little later this year with a Tangled themed party. She is in love with that movie!!


So Aubriana, Aubri for short, picks all of her colors by herself I only paint her nails and care for them. This week she chose both OPI, Got A Date To-Knight! and Teenage Dream. It's funny that she chose a Katy Perry nail polish because she loves her songs and doesn't even know the relation to this color!! Please feel free to click the pictures to enlarge.

Mommy's Mani's

So, as you all know I have a gorgeous 2 year old daughter named Aubriana, who is actually turning 3 this week. She loves it when I do her mani's and pedi's, her favorite part is when i massage her hands and feet. Like her mom, she too also loves nail polish.

She is always having me "paint" her nails, and she even picks out her own colors! She is so smart that she can now even open her own nail polish bottles and even paint her nails pretty good all by herself!!

I wanted to show a little bit of a sneak peek so that way I can get some feedback on how you guys like this idea. I will be doing a Mommy's Mani's post every other week if I get good feedback from this.

OPI My Private Jet HOLO!

Ladies and Gentlemen if you could please fasten your seat belts as we are preparing for take off!! Ok that might have been a little corny but oh well :) 


OPI My Private Jet has many versions to it. There is the plain "yuk brown one" that is the most recent version, there is also the blue flash version, teal flash version, and the greatest one of all, the HOLO version!!

Sephora by OPI Slushied

With all of these press releases coming out about the up and coming fall collections I've been seeing too many dark colors lately. I really wanted to pick a color that screams SUMMER!!

What better color to show off summer than a cool blue. This mani is 2 coats of Sephora by OPI's Slushied from the Glee collection. The accent nails are Nail Junkie by Sinful Colors.

So today I have for you one of my major lemmings that I was finally able to cross off my list, OPI DS Glamour. My husband and I are huge fans of the Dallas Cowboys and what girl doesn't love a great, excuse me, I mean GORGEOUS holo nail polish?!!! This color was perfect for me!!
